I've been staying here long-term this is a very centrally located reasonably priced hotel for the area.. the rooms are clean and efficient the management doesn't bother you really and it's mostly quiet.
I did see the prior reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed there in November 2024. I could definitely tell the work that had been going on to make this place better. It's not perfect, but the price is great for how close it is to the best of St. Augustine. The new owner is nice and checked in on me when we crossed paths making sure I had everything. The air conditioning can get as cold as you need.
The room was nice, The bed was comfortable. We had the handicap room, and the bathroom was perfect. The ony drawback was no microwave in room. I had read a review stating that no microwave was in the disability room, so we brought our airfryer and warmed the leftovers up. I will stay here again when visiting Saint Augustine in the future. The owner is friendly and the lication is great.
Decent room and only a mile from downtown! The king bed was comfy, the shower pressure was amazing and hot, the room was clean, and owner checked us in himself and was very friendly and helpful. He told us he just purchased this place a year ago and he is steadily working on improvements. I feel what we got for the great price we paid and location was appropriate and fair. It is off a main road and has traffic sounds but the AC running acted as a perfect “white noise” for us.
Room was very clean. Clean comfortable bed. Plenty of towels and hot water also very clean bathroom. Staff was very friendly as well. I understand new management is taking over and these things take time. Kudos to new owners. So far so good. November 22 - 24
